22 July 2008 - Achievers students showcase their work in Germany
Achievers students showcase their work in Germany
Achievers International students in Germany had a busy time in June. They had the chance to attend two large enterprise fairs and showcase their work.
The 10th German-Polish youth fair "Young Life" started in Frankfurt (Oder) on 13 June; the 9th Trade Fair for Business Starters and Entrepreneurs (deGUT) was held in Berlin on 27 and 28 June 2008.
The Fairs were an interesting opportunity for all the participating school companies to present themselves to a wider audience. Three schools from Germany, and one from Northern Ireland attended the events. VITA on Tour from the Wandlitz Gymnasium offered their trips, Exporterfolg from Großenhain sold BlueTac, B2BFS from Hangelsberg advertised their Claddagh Ring and BBB Mini Business from Ballymoney advertised their region.

Cooperation among pupils from the two schools was very impressive; B2Bfs representatives helped to overcome language barriers between visitors and the exhibitors from Northern Ireland.

All the schools represented at the "Young Life" and deGUT Fairs are looking forward to further opportunities to present their companies in other projects.
Congratulations to all the students involved in both fairs. We appreciate all of their hard work in ensuring the events were a success.
