Luella High School in Georgia, USA is currently in partnership with the Jamasi Methodist School in Ashanti,Ghana and the partnership is developing very well. The teacher co-ordinator for Jamasi Methodist School is currently in the States and may visit the students at Luella High School. This should hopefully then open the door for future exchange visits between the students at the two schools.

Jamasi Methodist School were particularly interested in having a partner school in the US and were understandably excited when they heard that Luella High School in Georgia were very interested in trading with them.

The company at Jamasi Methodist School is called John Wesley Senior Inc. and they are hoping to trade products made with a local cloth called ‘Kente’ cloth such as Kente bags (for men & women) and Kente bangles. Luella High School's company have called themselves Y.E.M.F (Young Entrepreneurs Moving Forward) and hope in turn to trade such things as chocolates, small footballs and T-shirts.
