Last Friday saw five Achievers International schools participating in a Young Entrepreneurs Market held on the Southbank in London. The event featured 50 stalls selling a variety of products, but it was the Achievers stalls which proved to be popular with customers as they offered products from around the world.

Sunbury Manor School, Bridgend College, The Charter School and St Neot's Preparatory School came from around the UK to trade their products and they were even joined by students from Gesamtschule Petershagen in Germany who travelled over especially for the event.

Despite the wet start to the day, there was a buzz in the air as students set up their stalls and started selling a wide variety of products. Sunbury Manor School sold handmade jewellery imported form their partner school based in the rainforest in Ecuador; Bridgend College sold handmade goods from bracelets to bags imported form their partners in Ghana.

St Neot's sold handmade scarves imported form their partners in Dubai and the Charter School sold clothing they were intending to export to their partners in the USA. Gesamtschule Petershagen had a wide range of sweet and savoury food items from East Germany which sold well.
