Sandy Creek High School is located in Tyrone, Georgia USA approximately 10 miles south of Atlanta, Georgia. It is a public high school with approximately 1400 students ages 14 to 18.

Star International is Sandy Creek High School's international trading company and trades products with sister schools in Scotland, Spain, Germany, and Canada. Students email sister school students; as well participate in local domestic sales in the community.

We sponsor the following domestic projects: clothes drive, golf tournament, blood drive, carnation sales, Tyrone Founder's Day Craft Fair, to name a few.

At the end of the school year, profits are divided evenly among students. In addition, students have opportunities to meet community business leaders and international business people. Star International is a branch of Achievers International.

Star International is tailored for students who wish to pursue a degree in International Business and/or have plans to operate their own future business.

This class offers real life experiences in an adult world combined with economic theory needed for university study.

Students are in good academic standing, exhibit no consistent disciplinary problems, have excellent attendance records, willing to “work as a serious team member”, and understand work is occasionally done outside of class as needed.

Star International is very visible, with members frequently representing Sandy Creek in our community.

Approximately 125 students apply to be in the class and 20 students are selected by their teacher, Dr Dan Smith.
